An interesting feature of reading eBooks is the ability to proofread. eBooks provide a way to submit corrections. It is like having an unpaid job working for the publisher. Recently, I’ve moved away from correcting spelling errors and have moved to offering plot corrections.
I was reading a book recently and became offended by the author using the Lord’s name in vain. I let it go and continued reading. Then he did it again and again. This excessive abuse led me to send a book review to warn Christians to expect to be offended when reading the book. I sent a message to the publisher that offending God did not enhance the story’s plot.
I don’t know what has caused me to be a rabid Christian, yet I feel the Lord tugging at my heart more and more. It only makes sense that when so many people are drifting away from God, a few of us might drift closer.
